Dali Nanzhao Style Island is one of the three islands of the Erhai Sea, located in the prime location of the Cang-er National Scenic Area - the southeast end of Eryuan County, Shuanglang Township. The island is surrounded by water on all sides, east of the famous Buddhist shrine Jishu Mountain, north of the Shihbao Mountain, south of Dali, west of the Cang Mountains and Erhai, because of the unique tourism resources, it is known as "Dali scenery in Cang-er, Cang-er scenery in Shuanglang" reputation. Dali Nanzhao Style Island is listed as one of the 25 tourism projects in Yunnan Province, and is the designated reception unit of Kunming World Horticultural Expo in 1999.
