Xishuangbanna South Medicine Park was established in 1959, its predecessor is the Yunnan Branch of the Institute of Medicinal Plants of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. It is located in the center of Jinghong City, Yunnan Province, covering an area of more than 320 acres, mainly engaged in the promotion of research on the cultivation of southern medicine, the protection of tropical medicinal plant resources, the excavation and collation of ethnic folk medicine, and is an important base for the study of biological resources of southern medicine in China.Over the years, it has been committed to medicinal plant introduction, cultivation research and the promotion of related science and technology.
