Blue Moon Valley Scenic Area is located in the southwest of Shangri-La County, on the southeast edge of the Tibetan Plateau. It is 7.34 kilometers from the county town, 3270-4500 meters above sea level, and a national AAAA tourist attraction. It is the nearest newly developed comprehensive tourist attraction in Shangri-La from the county and the airport, and the only three-dimensional ecological and cultural tourist attraction with sightseeing conditions in the Diqing Plateau.
