简介
Yuanmou tulip forest is a kind of columnar terrain shaped by earth-like accumulation, named because it looks like a forest from a distance. They are usually found in basins or valleys, and are most typical of those found in recent years in Yuanmou, Yunnan Province, China, reflecting the process of ancient geographical changes and geomorphic development.
Yuanmou earth forests are one of the most wonderful natural wonders in China and even in the world. After millions of years of crustal movements, the gods of wind and rain have carved the land of Yuanmou into a thousand strange shapes. Therefore, it has attracted many photographers, geologists and famous directors to visit and take scenes, and the movies shot here include "Wuji" and "A Thousand Miles Away".
